To provide an operation device for surgical bed which allows a medical worker such as a surgeon, an assistant, a nurse, and a medical engineer to easily grasp a lapse time since the table is inclined and the inclination state is started to be maintained, even when a table is inclined in surgery for inclining a patient.SOLUTION: An operation device 5 (operation device for surgical bed) is an operation device for allowing a user to operate movement of a table 1 of a surgical bed 100 on which a table 1 for mounting a patient thereon is moved by a multijoint robot arm 2, and comprises: an instruction reception part 53 for receiving a movement instruction of a table 1 by a user； and a display part 52 for, when the table 1 is made in an inclined posture by the multijoint robot arm 2 by the movement instruction, displaying a lapse time since the table is made in the inclined posture and the inclined posture is maintained.
