PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-allergen sesame containing little or no 14 kDa sesame albumin which is the main causes of sesame allergy, to provide a method for producing the low-allergen sesame, to provide a method for determining the low-allergen sesame required for producing the low-allergen sesame, to provide a polyclonal antibody used for the method for determining the low-allergen sesame, and to provide a kit for detecting sesame allergen.SOLUTION: A polyclonal antibody of the present invention can be acquired by immunizing 14 kDa sesame albumin by injecting into an organism having antibody production ability to acquire the antibody from the organism, and exhibits high affinity to 14 kDa sesame albumin. And the kit for detecting sesame allergen of the present invention comprises the polyclonal antibody of the present invention as a component thereof.
