According to proposed method, specimen of irregular form is taken and placed into one of two transparent measuring vessels made in form of balance pans. Water-resistant loose load is poured into other measuring vessel to bring scales to balance. Level of loose load is measured and then loose load is poured into measuring vessel containing specimen under test.
