PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volcanic ejector agglomerate which is friendly to the global environment, is light in weight, is high in water absorptivity and water- retainability and is excellent in thermal insulation properties. SOLUTION: This volcanic ejector agglomerate is obtained by solidifying the kneaded mixture composed of at least one of volcanic ejector particles and volcanic ejector foamed particles and at least one of an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution and an aqueous agar. The volcanic ejector particles and the volcanic ejector foamed particles are light in weight, are high in the water absorptivity and water-retainability and are high in the thermal insulation properties as well. The PVA and agar are easily dissolved and are the materials friendly to the global environment.
