PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment purifying powder which consists of waste foundry sand, has a low energy cost needed for manufacture, shows a small possibility of contaminating the environment, and has an excellent function as a biological carrier, a manufacturing method for the same, and an environment molding.SOLUTION: Waste foundry sand (containing 4 mass% as carbon content) resultant from an organic sand mold containing an organic binder resin wasted from a foundry is collected to remove impurities through a screen (solid removal step S1). Next, as a heating process S2, particles of less than 5 mm fractionated in the solid removal step are fed to a heating furnace and heated for about 20 minutes at 300°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】廃鋳物砂を原料とし、製造に要するエネルギーコストが低廉で、環境を汚染する恐れが少なく、生物担体として優れた機能を有する環境浄化用粉体及びその製造方法、並びに環境浄化用成形物を提供する。【解決手段】鉄鋳物工場から廃棄された有機バインダー樹脂を含む有機砂型起因の廃鋳物砂(炭素含有量として4質量%含有)を収集し、スクリーンに通して夾雑物を除去する(固形物除去工程S1)。次に加熱工程S2として、固形物除去工程で分取された5mm未満の粒子を加熱炉に送り、300℃にて約20分間の加熱を行い、環境浄化用粉体を得る。【選択図】図1
