PURPOSE: A salmonella-specific protein inducing immunity against salmonellosis, its gene, injection and oral preparations containing the same protein are provided, thereby preventing disease of domestic animals caused by Salmonella by injection or oral administration of the salmonella-specific protein. CONSTITUTION: The salmonella-specific protein inducing immunity against salmonellosis has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2. A polynucleotide encoding the salmonella-specific protein has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1. The injection preparations contains the salmonella-specific protein inducing immunity against salmonellosis having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2. The oral preparations contains the salmonella-specific protein inducing immunity against salmonellosis having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2, wherein the oral preparations is fodder for domestic animals.
