The present invention provides a use of Labisia Pumila extract for enhancing the gene expression of Transglutaminase, Keratin, Aquaporin, Filaggrin, Mothers against decapentaplegic homolog, Glucocerebrosidase, and Hyaluronan synthase and improving the appearance of the skin. The Labisia Pumila extract can effectively enhancing the gene expression of TGM, KRT, AQP, FLG, SMAD, GBA, and/or HAS, and can effectively reduce wrinkles, melanin and water loss of the skin.
