PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can suppress leakage from a leg surrounding part.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: an absorbent body (10) which has an absorber, and whose longitudinal direction is along a vertical direction； and a pair of waist parts (20, 30) which are provided on one end side and the other end side of the absorbent body (10) in the longitudinal direction, and have an elastic member (22, 32) which stretches and shrinks in a lateral direction. The absorbent body (10) has a pair of extension parts (60) extending to both outside parts of the absorber (12) in the lateral direction, and on which an elastic member (61) which stretches and shrinks in the vertical direction is arranged.
