PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transferring device which can transfer an air permeable sheet piece having elasticity to other members or the like while maintaining a stretched state of the sheet piece stably.SOLUTION: A sheet transferring device 1 comprises a plurality of holding heads 5 rotatable on an axis and transfers an elastic sheet piece, which is held on a holding surface 5a of each holding head 5 in a stretched state, to other members or device while maintaining the stretched state. The holding head 5 has upper surface suction holes 53, 54 for adsorbing the sheet piece 21 to the holding surface 5a. The holding head has an inclined surface 57b having an angle with respect to the holding surface 5a, and a vertical end surface 57a having an angle larger than the inclined surface 57b, outside from both ends of the holding surface in a head longitudinal direction corresponding to a stretching direction of the sheet piece 21. The inclined surface 57b has an end part suction hole 55 or an end part lock part 59 for adsorbing or locking an end part area 27 of the sheet piece.
