PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam sterilization facility which can reliably sterilize an external surface of a sterilization object having an opening with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: An electron beam sterilization facility 1 in which a transport device 2 for a PET bottle 6 having an opening 7, and an external surface electron beam irradiation device 3 which irradiates an external surface of the PET bottle 6 transported by the transport device 2 with electron beam are provided. The transport device 2 has an encapsulation holding jig 21 which holds the PET bottle 6 from an inner side while encapsulating the opening 7 of the PET bottle when the external surface of the PET bottle 6 is irradiated with electron beam by the external surface electron beam irradiation device 3. Further, the transport device 2 is provided with bacteria spread prevention means 5 for preventing spreading of bacteria in the PET bottle 6 from the opening 7 when the PET bottle 6 is delivered to another sterilization device 4 from the encapsulation holding jig 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡素な構成で開口部を有する滅菌対象物の外面を確実に滅菌し得る電子線滅菌設備を提供する。【解決手段】開口部7を有するペットボトル6の搬送装置2と、この搬送装置2に搬送されているペットボトル6の外面に電子線を照射して滅菌する外面電子線照射装置3とが設けられた電子線滅菌設備1である。搬送装置2は、外面電子線照射装置3によりペットボトル6の外面に電子線が照射されている際に、ペットボトル6の開口部7を封止しながら内から保持する内封保持具21を有する。また、搬送装置2は、内封保持具21からペットボトル6が他の搬送装置4に受け渡される際に、ペットボトル6の内部における菌が開口部7から拡散しないようにする菌拡散防止手段5を設けた。【選択図】図1
