A residual handling system (70) from a harvesting machine (10) includes a straw drum (90) to receive non-grain from a threshing and separation system (24). A subsequent residual treatment device (72) receives the non-grain from the straw drum (90) and breaks larger portions of the non-grain into pieces before discharging the non-grain from the harvesting machine (10). At least one wind generating system (92) is located at one end of the straw fragrance drum (90) and directs a luminous flux (80) from the vicinity of the fragrance drum (90) to the subsequent residual treatment device (72). The air stream (80) is directed to substantially pass through a rearward-facing portion at the top of the residual treatment system (70). The air stream (80) causes further entrainment, floatation in the air and transport of non-grain moving from the straw drum (90) to the subsequent residual treatment device (72).Een restantenbehandelingssysteem (70) van een oogstmachine (10) bevat een strodorstrommel (90) om niet-graan te ontvangen van een dors- en scheidingssysteem (24). Een eropvolgend restantenbehandelingstoestel (72) ontvangt het niet-graan van de strodorstrommel (90) en breekt grotere delen van het niet-graan in stukken vooraleer het niet-graan uit de oogstmachine (10) te ontladen.
