PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe that is easy to grip and easy to operate when an operator captures an image of a subject.SOLUTION: A probe 1 comprises a housing 10 including optical paths, scanning means 70 for changing application direction of measurement light, and a nozzle 40 applying the measurement light to recover scattering light. The scanning means 70 includes: a mirror 71 for reflecting the measurement light introduced in the housing 10； a first galvanometer mirror 72 for reflecting the measurement light reflected by the mirror 71； and a second galvanometer mirror 73 for reflecting the measurement light reflected by the first galvanometer mirror 72, to the nozzle 40. The housing 10 includes a grip part 10a, and a condenser lens storage part 10b formed at a tip end part 10i side, where an optical path of the measurement light introduced in the grip part 10a, to the scanning means 70, and an optical path of the measurement light from the scanning means 70 to an opening part 10g of the condenser lens storage part 10b are disposed in parallel to each other and formed into a straight shape.
