A method for determining a gait phase according to embodiments of the present invention, which is a method for determining a gait phase by using a foot module in which contact sensors are disposed on a ground contact surface at predetermined intervals from a heel to a front sole, comprises the steps of: by a gait analysis system, receiving contact sensing signals from the contact sensors of the foot module； computing a center of contact point based on the detection values of the contact sensing signals； and determining a gait phase as any one among an initial contact phase, a mid-stance phase, a toe-off phase, and a swing phase according to the computed center of contact point.본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 보행 단계 판정 방법은 지면 접촉면에 뒤꿈치로부터 앞꿈치까지 소정 간격으로 배치된 접촉 감지 센서들을 구비하는 발모듈을 이용하는 보행 단계 판정 방법으로서, 보행 분석 시스템이, 발모듈의 접촉 감지 센서들로부터 접촉 감지 신호들을 수신하는 단계, 접촉 감지 신호들 각각의 검출 값들에 기초하여 지면 접촉 중심 위치를 산출하는 단계 및 산출된 상기 지면 접촉 중심 위치에 따라 보행 단계를 초기 접촉기, 중간 입각기, 진출기 및 유각기 중 어느 하나로 판정하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
