PURPOSE: An artificial waterweed island with fiber filters is provided to improve the efficiency of purification by using the spaces of entire areas. CONSTITUTION: An artificial waterweed island(10) includes a plant supporting board(20), a soil planting mat part(30), a coir net part(40), and media(50). A plurality of through holes(21) is formed at the plant supporting board such that aquatic plants(15) spread roots. The plant supporting board is capable of being floated on the surface of wetland. The soil planting mat part is formed by compressively molding a soil mixture. The soil planting mat part is stacked on the upper side of the plant supporting board. Planting holes(31) are formed at the soil planting mat part. The coir net part surrounds the upper side of the soil planting mat part. A plurality of media is installed at the lower side of the plant supporting board and is submerged in the wetland. Fiber filters are arranged in the media to efficiently eliminate suspended materials or foreign materials.본 발명은 하천이나 호수 또는 인공습지 등에 유입되는 부유물질이나 협잡물, 용존성 오염물질 등을 미생물에 의해 분해하여 제거하므로 수질오염을 방지하고 항상 깨끗이 정화된 상태의 수질로 유지함을 제공하도록, 하천이나 호수와 같은 습지의 수면에 설치되고 상부에 다양한 수생식물을 식재하는 인공 수초섬에 있어서, 상기 수생식물이 계속해서 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 수직관통된 복수의 관통공이 형성되고 습지의 수면상에 부유가능하게 구비되는 식재지지판과； 상기 식재지지판의 상부에 적층되어 위치하고 상기 관통공에 연통하여 상기 수생식물이 식재될 수 있도록 식재공이 형성되며 토양혼합물로 압축 성형되는 토양식재매트부와； 상기 토양식재매트부의 상면에 접하여 감싸도록 형성되는 코이어네트부와； 상기 식재지지판의 하부에 복수로 설치되어 습지의 수중에 위치하고 습지 내에 유입되는 부유물질이나 협잡물을 효율적으로 제거하도록 내부에 섬유필터가 구비되는 메디아；를 포함하는 섬유필터를 구비한 인공 수초섬을 제공한다.
