Disclosed is a surgical microscope having a vibration preventing means that is capable of reducing external vibration that is transmitted from a floor and internal vibration that is generated when the microscope is driven. The surgical microscope includes: a stand that is disposed vertically to a floor surface and supports a cantilever and a microscope portion； the microscope portion that enlarges a surgical object and provides an enlarged image of the surgical object； the cantilever that adjusts a position of the microscope portion with one end rotatably fixed to the stand and the other end, on which the microscope portion is mounted, moving freely； at least one wheel that is attached to a lower end of the stand to support and move the stand； the vibration preventing means that is positioned between the stand and the wheel to reduce vibration generated in and out of the surgical microscope.
