PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical microscope system in which an assistant stands at the side where a suspension arm is not present and also at any position around the surgical microscope, and the observation by an assistant mirror is made possible from the direction.SOLUTION: An optical flux outlet 22 is provided on an upper surface 21 of a surgical microscope 7, and an assistant mirror 26 is rotatably mounted there in the horizontal direction, and therefore the assistant mirror 26 can be turned to any direction.
