PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image photographing system which allows us to accurately identify the location or the zone (photographing chamber) of each FPD cassette by using existing devices or equipment.SOLUTION: This radiation image photographing system 50 comprises: a plurality of zones Ra1 to Ra3, each of which includes at least a FPD cassette 1 and a radiation source 52 for delivering radiation to the FPD cassette 1 and also includes an access point 53 capable of receiving a signal sent from its FPD cassette 1 and a control device S which can communicate with each of the access points 53. Upon receiving a signal, an access point 53 sends the signal together with its identification information attached thereto to the control device S, so that the control device S can identify which access point 53 has been used to send the signal.
