The present invention relates to a ginseng extract having a protective effect against high temperature stress. More particularly, the present invention relates to a novel ginseng extract which maintains original efficacy of ginseng and at the same time further has a protective effect against high temperature stress which does not induce heat-up action but rather can reduce high temperature stress, so that the extract can be ingested usefully and easily in high temperature regions. The ginseng extract of the present invention comprises ginsenosides Rg3, Rg5 and Rk1.본 발명은 고온스트레스에 대한 방어효능을 인삼 추출물에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 발명은 인삼이 갖는 본래의 효능을 유지하는 동시에, 승열작용 등을 유발하지 않고 오히려 고온스트레스를 저감시킬 수 있는 고온스트레스에 대한 방어효능을 추가로 가져 고온 지방에서도 유용하고 쉽게 복용될 수 있는 새로운 인삼 추출물에 관한 것이다.
