PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic method of Panax ginseng which can grow a root largely in the same manner as open field cultivation in a short period of time, and in which pesticide cleaning is not required, and active ingredients are not impaired and which can be harvested in a state of high value.SOLUTION: A hydroponic method of Panax ginseng at least has: a process of germinating root-divided seed of Panax ginseng in a sponge containing water; a process of making a state in which, after germination, a filling member 25 covers the circumference and the tip of the main root along the growth direction of the main root to the extent of the length of the main root when grown an open field cultivation, and a resin cushion member 26 having air permeability covers the circumference of the filling member, and a pressing member 18 presses the circumference of the cushion member, and setting the pressing member to a panel shutting off upper and lower spaces; a process of supplying carbon dioxide while irradiating illumination light to stems and leaves in a space of stems and leaves side of the seedling; and a process of supplying a nutrient solution only to hair fine roots for the roots of the seedling and supplying air so that humidity escapes, in the space of the root side of the seedling, on the other hand, not supplying moisture to the main root as much as possible and giving drought stress.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6【課題】短期間で露地栽培と同様に根を大きく成長可能で、農薬洗浄が不要で有効成分が損なわれず高価値の状態で収穫可能な高麗人参の水耕栽培方法の提供。【解決手段】芽割した高麗人参の種子を、水を含有のスポンジで発芽させる過程、発芽後、本根の周囲及び先端を、露地栽培で成長したときの本根の長さ程度本根の成長方向に沿って充填部材25、充填部材の周囲を通気性を有する樹脂製クッション部材26が夫々覆い、該クッション部材の周囲を押圧部材18が圧迫する状態を作り、該押圧部材を上部と下部の空間を遮断するパネルにセットする過程、苗の茎及び葉側の空間で、茎及び葉に対し照明光を照射するとともに、二酸化炭素を供給する過程、苗の根側の空間で、苗の根に対し毛細根のみに養液を供給するとともに湿度が抜けるように空気を供給し本根には極力水分を供給せず乾燥ストレスを与える過程を少なくとも有する。【選択図】図6
