PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing food product or pet food which has characteristic texture, unlike a conventional boiling method or frying method.
SOLUTION: This method for producing the food product or pet food includes roasting dried pasta and coating the roasted dried pasta with oil and fat and seasoning. The roasting is performed at 170-205°C in a heating time of 5-20 s, and the roasting method uses sand roasting.
