PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lysozyme formulation which is improved in the heat resistance of lysozyme, which is known to be unstable to heat and substantially deteriorates in effect when heated.SOLUTION: A lysozyme formulation is a mixture of a starch decomposition product of a DE of 25-50 and lysozyme and shows an absorbancy at 600 nm of 0.03 or smaller after a 10.5% aqueous solution of the mixture is heated at 90°C for 40 min and left standing at room temperature for 6 h. The blend ratio of the starch decomposition product of a DE of 25-50 to lysozyme is 10:1 to 500:1.
