DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STERILIZING AN EMULSION AT AN ULTRAHIGH TEMPERATURE PARTICULARLY A COSMETIC EMULSION FOR THE SKIN WHICH IS UNSTABLE AT THE STERILIZATION TEMPERATURE
The invention relates to a method for sterilizing an emulsion at an ultrahigh temperature particularly a cosmetic preparation for the skin characterized in that it includes the steps of: a) gradually preheating (120) said emulsion to a preheating temperature T1 which is the stability limit for said emulsion b) carrying out ultrahigh temperature sterilization by infusing the thus preheated emulsion including i) rapidly heating (131) the emulsion to a sterilization temperature T2 ii) maintaining (132) said emulsion at the sterilization temperature and iii) rapidly vacuum cooling (133) the emulsion to a final sterilization temperature T3 and c) gradually cooling (150) the emulsion while agitating same to a storage temperature T4.
