For better treatment of patients whose hip prosthesis cup has been replaced at least once, possibly even several times, and who have extensive bone defects and ligament instabilities, a revision cup arrangement for hip prosthesis is proposed with the present invention comprising a cup (10) forming an inner seat (13) for pivotally seating the femur and having a convex outer surface which is not rotationally symmetrical at least in one plane, where an insert (30) having a spherical outer surface (32) for spherical seating within the inner seat (12) and a spherical inner (31) surface for spherically seating a spherical head (40) being connected to the femur is provided, so that relative mobility between the femur is achieved by two articulation surfaces.1/2
