Packaging 35 for a breast implant 30, the packaging comprising a lid 40 and a cavity 45, wherein one of the lid 40 or cavity 45 provides for direct delivery of the implant 30 from the packaging 35 to a surgical pocket. In a preferred arrangement either the lid 40 or cavity 45 comprise a delivery device in form of a flexible tapered sleeve 10 having a closed distal end 20； the delivery device providing for the delivery of the implant 30 only upon opening/cutting of the distal end 20. In the arrangement whereby the lid 40 comprises the delivery device the lid may comprise both an inner lid 40 and an outer lid (70, Fig 4), the inner lid 40 comprising the delivery device. A method for the delivery of a breast implant from packaging to a surgical pocket is also claimed and comprises the steps of: ensuring that a delivery device present in the lid or cavity is in a delivery position； forming an aperture in the delivery device, thereby opening the packaging； transferring the implant to the delivery device； positioning the delivery device in contact with the surgical pocket； and delivering the breast implant to the pocket.
