PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope assembly or endoscope assembly.SOLUTION: The assembly comprises an observation region, in which an object to be observed can be arranged； an illumination light path, which extends from an illumination light entry region to the observation region； and an observation light path, which extends from the observation region to a light exit region. In the illumination light path, a first polarizing subassembly is arranged to create polarized illumination light. In the observation light path, a second polarizing subassembly is arranged, which is configured to filter out the polarized illumination light passing the first polarizing subassembly. To ensure coaxial illumination and observation of the object, a beam splitter is provided, which is arranged in the illumination light path between the light entry region and the observation region and in the observation light path between the observation region and the light exit region.
