PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantly and reliably rotate a handle shaft in the fishing-line winding direction by a hand opposite to the hand operating a handle assembly.SOLUTION: The handle assembly 2 is mounted onto the handle shaft 30 rotatably supported by the reel unit 1 of a dual-bearing reel. The handle assembly 2 includes a handle arm 2a and a handle knob 2b. The handle arm 2a includes an attachment portion 14a, at least one arm portion 14b, a plurality of protruding portions 14c, and a plurality of coupling portions 14d. The attachment portion 14a is attached onto the handle shaft 30. The at least one arm portion 14b extends radially outwards from the attachment portion 14a. The plurality of protruding portions 14c are disposed around of the attachment portion 14a, protrude radially outwards, and are circumferentially aligned at predetermined intervals. The plurality of coupling portions 14d couple the plurality of protruding portions 14c.
