The invention relates to the methods of cattle limited feeding under the conditions of pasture management which includes creation of minimal concentrations of energy, nutrients in the ration dry matter that satisfies animal alimentary needs at maximum daily food consumption without losses of planned productivity. At that under the conditions of pasture management the maximal consumption of dry matter by animal, the amount of dry matter and nutrients consumed by animal at the pasture are determined. Then, according to selected nutritional standard, deficit amount of nutrients and amount of dry matter that animal can consume in addition to already consumed at the pasture field are calculated. Then formulation of complete fodder mixture compensating nutrients deficit, which emerges during pasturage of animal, is developed, and it is fed to the animal as feed additive at the end of daily pasturage.
