PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coating layer composed mainly of specific sugars or sugar alcohols, a hard coated product and a method for producing the product, wherein the strength of the hard coating layer, the surface smoothness of the hard coating layer, the disintegration property of the hard coated product, the chewing crunch property of the hard coated product, the cracking resistance of the hard coated product under a dry condition, etc., are improved to satisfactory levels.SOLUTION: The purpose is achieved by using either one kind of compound selected from the sugars and sugar alcohols comprising sucrose, trehalose, maltitol, xylitol, mannitol, erythritol, lactitol and a mixture of 1,6-GPS(6-O-&alpha-D-glucopyranosyl-D-sorbitol) and 1,1-GPM(1-O-&alpha-D-glucopyranosyl-D-mannitol) as a main component of the hard coating layer and using a hydroxyalkylated dextrin as a reinforcing agent.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】特定の糖類または糖アルコール類を主成分とした硬質コーティング層と硬質コーティング製品及びその製造方法について、硬質コーティング層の強度、硬質コーティング層表面の平滑性、硬質コーティング製品の崩壊性、硬質コーティング製品を噛んだ時のクランチ性、硬質コーティング製品の乾燥条件下でのひび割れの生じ難さ、などについて改善され、満足できるものを提供すること。【解決手段】砂糖、トレハロース、マルチトール、キシリトール、マンニトール、エリスリトール、ラクチトール、そして1,6-GPS(6-O-α-D-グルコピラノシル-D-ソルビトール)と1,1-GPM(1-O-α-D-グルコピラノシル-D-マンニトール)の混合物、以上の糖類および糖アルコール類の群から選ばれる何れか一種を硬質コーティング層の主成分とし、補強剤としてヒドロキシアルキル化デキストリンを使用することにより達成される。【選択図】 なし
