The method comprises: receiving a simulcast stream transmitted by a first meeting terminal, the simulcast stream comprising an audio stream adopting a first encoding manner and an audio stream adopting a second encoding manner, wherein the audio stream adopting the first encoding manner and the audio stream adopting the second encoding manner have the same media content and the same packaging duration; carrying out packet loss detection on the audio stream adopting the first encoding manner; when it is detected that a packet loss occurs to the audio stream adopting the first encoding manner, searching the audio stream adopting the second encoding manner for a packet having the same media content as the lost packet; and inserting the found packet into the audio stream adopting the first encoding manner and transmitting same to a second meeting terminal.
