The accessory is intended as an aid in dividing a round gateau or the like into a number of equal sectors, particularly an odd number. It consists of a disc which has radii marked thereon with figures indicating where the cuts are to be made to obtain a given number of portions (e.g. three radii marked 3, five radii marked 5). The disc may be in any suitable material. If in a durable material (earthenware, glass, stainless steel etc.) it may be used as a cake dish.
