PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a novice to perform appropriate ultrasonic examination.SOLUTION: An affected part that is suspected is estimated on the basis of ECG (electrocardiograph) data obtained from a subject and how to apply a probe to scan the affected part is guide-displayed to an operator. Since the apparatus guides to the operator how to apply the probe for scanning the suspicious affected part, even a novice is able to perform appropriate ultrasonic examination.
