PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy field work machine compactly provided with a spring that energizes a grounding body downward.SOLUTION: A paddy field work machine comprises: a grounding body liftably supported by a paddy field work device grounding and following the surface of a paddy field； a detection member 41 mounted to the grounding body for lifting integrally with the grounding body； and a reference member 42 mounted to the paddy field work device. A linkage rod 44 lifting interlocked with the grounding body is mounted in a vertical direction to vertically move with respect to the reference member 42. A lower spring 52 is externally fit to the linkage rod 44 in the lower part of the reference member 42. The lower spring 52 is compressed by rising of the detection member 41, energizing the grounding body downward through the detection member 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
