PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for germination promoting treatment enabling the treatment time to be cut without affecting the germination promotive effect of seed rice.SOLUTION: This method for treating seed rice comprises a sterilization treatment step and a germination promotive treatment step. The seed rice treatment is carried out prior to its seeding. In the germination promotive step, acid water produced by diaphragmed electrolysis is used as the soaking liquid for use in the rice seed germination promotive treatment to promote the germination through the rapid absorption of much water into the seed rice by the aid of the properties specific to the acid water.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【課題】種籾の発芽促進効果に影響を及ぼすことなく、発芽促進処理時間の短縮を図ることができる発芽促進処理の方法を提供する。【解決手段】消毒処理工程および発芽促進処理工程を有し、播種に先だって、種籾を消毒処理しかつ発芽促進処理する種籾の処理方法であって、発芽促進処理工程で種籾の発芽促進処理に使用するための浸漬液として、有隔膜電解により生成される電解生成酸性水を採用して、電解生成酸性水の固有の特性により、種籾に対する迅速かつ大量な水分の吸収を図って発芽を促進させる。
