The invention relates to a 4-Amino-3-aryl amino -6-arylpyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives, method for their preparation and their use asantiviralagents.The object was to provide novel compounds which can be employed as agentsfor example for the treatment of picomavirus infections and which avoidproblems of known medicaments, especially relating to resistance andintolerance.This object is achieved by compounds of the general formula I.(see formula I)
