PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for branch-trimming, pruning, fruit-bearing and fruit-thinning chestnut including: planting a seedling on organic soil growing a plurality of branches while sufficiently exposing the seedling to sunlight and forming latent buds (burls) at the base of each of the branches while vigorously growing a main trunk to bear high-quality large-size chestnuts on all of the branches.SOLUTION: The method for branch-trimming, pruning, fruit-bearing and fruit-thinning chestnut includes: cutting off branches with two or three branches left while growing a seedling 1 to a main trunk 2 growing latent buds 10 at the base ends of all the branches producing vigorous fruit-bearing branches 5 and developing branches 4 to make floral buds appear so as to produce fruits (chestnuts).COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】有機土壌に苗木を植付し、太陽光を十分に受けながら複数本の枝を成長させ、主幹を勢よく成長させながら夫々の枝の根本に陰芽(コブ)を形成してすべての枝から大果で高品質の栗を発生させる栗の整枝・剪定・結実・摘果方法を提供する。【解決手段】苗木1を主幹2に成長させながら、2枝乃至3枝を残して他を切除し、すべての枝の基端に陰芽10を発生させ、勢のある結果母枝5や発育枝4を発生させて花芽を結実して果実(栗)を生産する。【選択図】 図7
