PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate rooting and raising control of transplanting objects to be planted by forming shallow holes around the transplanting objects to be planted and watering the holes.SOLUTION: A transplanter is provided with a drill (110) which moves vertically to form holes which are shallower than the planting depth of the transplanting objects to be planted, at positions on a field where a planting tool (28) plants the transplanting objects.
