The present invention provides a method for detecting a tiresome state of a user. The method includes: controlling a camera of a computer to capture images of the user when the user is not at the tiresome state and analyzing the images to obtain first face parameters controlling the camera to periodically capture images of the user when the user uses the computer and analyzing the images to obtain second face parameters prompting the user to have a rest if the second face parameters time does not fall into an allowable range of the first face parameters.
