PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse for a personal computer operation, capable of carrying out measurement more readily to obtain a pulse wave of a human body.SOLUTION: The mouse 1 for a personal computer operation has click sections 2, 3 respectively on the right and left sides of a top surface portion near a front end of a mouse body. Either one of the click sections 2, 3 is set as a measurement position 5 for measuring the pulse wave of a human body through a finger tip P placed on the click section. The mouse has a light-emitting section 9 for pulse wave measurement that emits light through this click section 2 to the surface of the finger tip P placed on the click section 2 as the measurement position 5, and a receiving section 10 that receives the light from the light-emitting section 9 reflected on or transmitted through the surface of the finger tip P, so that a light-receiving condition in the light receiving section 10 can be detected to measure the pulse wave.
