PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film composition for oral cavity giving a film formulation for oral cavity excellent in solubility in an oral cavity and handleability of a formulation.SOLUTION: A film composition for oral cavity contains (A) 30 to 60 mass% of hydroxypropyl cellulose having a viscosity of 2 to 6 mPa.s in 2 mass% aqueous solution at 20°C, (B) 2 to 8 mass% of polyvinyl alcohol having a viscosity of 3 to 6 mPa.s in 4 mass% aqueous solution at 20°C, (C) 4 to 20 mass% of sugar alcohol and/or polyhydric alcohol, and (D) a nonionic surfactant, where the mass ratio (A)/(B) representing the compounding ratio of the (A) component to the (B) component is 5 to 25.
