PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator for exhibiting the inside sterilizing effect by permeating fine water droplet inside an object, by exhibiting the sterilizing action and the relaxing action by an ion over a long time, by ionizing moisture (the fine water droplet) transpired by transpiring condensation water with a simple constitution, without requiring to replenish water.
SOLUTION: This ion generator includes a cooling means 1 for condensing the moisture included in air by cooling the air, a heating means 2 for heating and transpiring the condensation water W, and a discharge means 3 for generating the ion by discharging in an atmosphere of transpiring the condensation water W.
