PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a radiation image of an appropriate S/N while taking into account the body thickness of a subject in a radiation image processing device, method, and program.SOLUTION: An image acquisition part 31 acquires a radiation image picked up by irradiating a subject with a radiation. A first information acquisition part 32 acquires at least one piece of information of an image pickup condition when picking up an image of the subject, a subject condition, and a detector characteristic which is a characteristic of a radiation detector. A second information acquisition part 33 acquires body thickness information indicating the body thickness of the subject. A target S/N setting part 34 sets a target S/N of the radiation image based on the at least one piece of the information of the image pickup condition, the subject condition, and the detector characteristic, and the body thickness information.
