PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmful animal detection device that is superior in safety, and can detect a harmful animal even if the harmful animal cannot be detected by s camera.SOLUTION: A harmful animal detection device 1 of the present invention comprises a sound information acquisition unit 11 for acquiring sound information around an enclosure of a harmful animal intrusion prevention area, an analysis unit 12 for analyzing the acquired sound information, and an output unit 13 for outputting analysis results of the sound information. The analysis unit 12 analyzes whether or not the acquired sound information matches the sound information of a sound generating unit being set up in the enclosure of the area and generating the sound by contact.
