PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for reducing the influence of noise generated by the operation or the like of a measurement region, in a device measuring a pulse wave.SOLUTION: This pulse wave measurement device 1 includes: a plurality of first light receiving elements each outputting a measurement signal based on the light reception amount of light of a first wavelength irradiated by a light emitting element and reflected by a measurement region and a plurality of second light receiving elements each outputting a measurement signal based on the light reception amount of light of a second wavelength reflected by the measurement region. A control part of the pulse wave measurement device 1 performs independent component analysis to the measurement signals outputted from the plurality of first light receiving elements, and calculates the weighting coefficient of each component when having separated each measurement signal into a plurality of components. The control part calculates the variation of the calculated weighting coefficients in each component, and specifies the component having the smallest calculated variation. The control part performs similar processing even to the measurement signals outputted from the plurality of second light receiving elements to specify the component having the smallest variation, and generates information representing a pulse wave based on the specified component.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】脈波を測定する装置において、測定部位の動作等によって生じるノイズの影響を減らす技術を提供する。【解決手段】脈波測定装置1は、発光素子によって照射された第1の波長の光が測定部位を反射した光の受光量に基づく測定信号を出力する複数の第1の受光素子と、第2の波長の光が測定部位を反射した光の受光量に基づく測定信号を出力する複数の第2の受光素子とを備える。脈波測定装置1の制御部は、複数の第1の受光素子から出力される測定信号に対して独立成分分析を行って、各測定信号を複数の成分に分離した場合の各成分の重み付け係数を算出する。制御部は、算出した重み付け係数のばらつきを成分毎に算出し、算出されたばらつきが最も小さい成分を特定する。制御部は、複数の第2の受光素子から出力される測定信号に対しても同様の処理を行ってばらつきが最も小さい成分を特定し、特定した成分に基づいて脈波を表す情報を生成する。【選択図】図1
