PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified skin cosmetic excellent in spreadability and compatibility with skin, and extremely superior in feeling of use without sticky feeling such as fresh and youthful feeling, penetrating feeling, emollient feeling or tension feeling.SOLUTION: This oil-in-water type emulsified skin cosmetic contains a following component (A) and (B). (A) An ester formed of a fatty acid mixture containing 16-18C fatty acids and pentaerythritol. (B) A thickener comprising microgel obtained by radically polymerizing dimethylacrylamide with 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid under the condition that microgel forms a single phase microemulsion or a fine W/O emulsion by a surfactant.
