The invention relates to a composition for smoothing keratinous fibers comprising: (a) one or more compounds selected from urea and / or urea derivatives, (b) one or more fatty substances, (c) one or more fat phase thickeners. It also relates to a process using this composition and the use of this composition for smoothing keratinous fibers, in particular human keratinous fibers such as the hair.
