PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately support arms of an operator according to a content of an operation in a support tracking device.SOLUTION: A support tracking device includes a placing part, an arm, a brake, a mode setting part, a counter weight, a position changing part, and a control part. In the arm, a plurality of links are connected through one or more joints, and the placing part is connected to one of the plurality of links. The brake restricts a motion of the joint. The mode setting part sets an operation mode of the brake. The counter weight is attached to the arm, and imparts reaction force to the placing part. The counter weight imparts larger reaction force as a distance from a base point defined to the arm is longer. The position changing part changes the position of the counter weight.
