The present invention relates to bale tongs and, more particularly, to bale tongs which can pivot left and right tongs using a single hydraulic cylinder so as to make the tongs pivot through uniform pressure without any shaking, and which can maximize the pivoting angle of the tongs by enabling the hydraulic cylinder to move in frontward/rearward directions. To this end, the present invention relates to bale tongs comprising: a main frame coupled to a loader tongs each having one end hinge-coupled to both sides of the main frame to be pivotably coupled and a hydraulic cylinder installed between the main frame and the tongs to pivot the tongs. A cylinder frame is formed on one side of the tongs to project toward the rear surface of the main frame, a cylinder bracket having a coupling hole formed therein in a lengthwise direction is installed in the central portion of the rear surface of the main frame, and moving spaces are formed in both sides of the main frame so that the cylinder frame has space in which to move when inserted. The hydraulic cylinder includes: a cylinder tube having the central portion thereof coupled by means of a coupling pin to the coupling hole of the cylinder bracket and cylinder rods provided respectively on either side of the cylinder tube and connected to the cylinder frame.
