PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a collateral-detecting device which is used for detecting a collateral which grows from a root canal to a periodontal space in dental diagnosis and treatment.SOLUTION: The collateral-detecting device consists of: a measurement electrode 10 which is inserted into the root canal an oral cavity electrode 11 which is located on an oral cavity surface a power source 1 which applies several measurement signals Pn to one of the measurement electrode 10 and the oral cavity electrode 11 while sequentially switching the signals a data-processing part 12 which outputs display data indicating the presence of the collateral which grows from the root canal to the periodontal space on the basis of a plurality of data sequentially detected between the measurement electrode 10 and oral cavity electrode 11 based on each measurement signal Pn from the power source 1 and a display 7 displaying the display data output from the data-processing part 12, which displays the presence of the collateral by waveforms of shift of the display data which change according to the insertion of the measurement electrode 10 into the root canal.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯科における診断や治療時において、根管から歯根膜腔に伸びた側枝を検出するために使用される側枝検出装置を得る。【解決手段】根管内に挿入される測定電極10、口腔内表面に配置される口腔電極11、測定電極10及び口腔電極11の内の1つに、複数種類の測定用信号Pnを順次切替えて印加する電源1、電源1からの各測定用信号Pnに基いて、測定電極10と口腔電極11間で順次検出される複数の測定データに基いて、根管から歯根膜腔に伸びる側枝の有無を示す表示用データを出力するデータ処理部12、データ処理部12から出力される該表示用データを表示する表示部7、該表示部7は、測定電極10が根管内に挿入されるに従って変化する該表示用データの推移の波形により該側枝の有無を表示する、を備えることにより側枝検出装置を構成する。【選択図】図1
