PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform root canal length measuring work by eliminating the load and timewise waste of an operator accompanied by the replacement of a measuring needle in the root canal length measuring work to shorten the working time of the operator.SOLUTION: The root canal length measuring instrument is composed of two root apex position detecting measuring clip holders 101 and 102, through which root apex position detecting lead wires having electrodes for clipping the conductive measuring needles (11, 12) inserted in the root canal provided to the leading ends thereof are inserted. Electricity is fed to the measuring needles 11, 12 through the lead wires 81 and 82 while the measuring needle (11 or 12) is inserted in the root canal and the length of the root canal is measured from the insertion depth of the same. The end parts of electricity feed wires for feeding electricity to the lead wires 81 and 82 of the respective measuring needle clip holders 101 and 102 are connected to a single connection terminal 15 and the connection terminal 15 is connected to the adaptor 22 of the root canal length measuring instrument or the adaptor 16 of the cord wire 8 connected to the root canal length measuring instrument in a freely detachable manner.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】根管長測定作業において、測定針交換に伴う術者の負担をなくすとともに、測定針交換に伴う術者の時間の無駄をなくし、術者は、その分作業時間を短縮して、効率よく根管長測定作業を行うことができる。【解決手段】根管内に挿入される導電性の測定針(11,12)をクリップする電極を先端に有する根尖位置検出用リード線が挿通された2台の根尖位置検出用測定針クリップホルダ101,102から成り、前記リード線81,82を通して前記測定針11,12に電気を供給するとともに、該測定針(11又は12)を根管内に挿入し、その挿入深さから根管長を測定する。各測定針クリップホルダ101,102のリード線81,82に電気を供給する電気供給線の端部を単一の接続端子15に接続し、該接続端子15を根管長測定装置のアダプタ22或いは該根管長測定装置に接続されるコード線8のアダプタ16に着脱自在に連結されるようにした。【選択図】図1
