The present invention relates to a catheter and to a method for manufacturing same. More particularly, the catheter according to the present invention comprises: a tubular body and a photosensitizer included in the inner cylindrical surface of the body. The catheter according to the present invention has excellent mechanical properties such as temperature and pH stability and high optophysical characteristics. Also, the catheter can be self-sterilized by the generation of active oxygen species through the excitation of the photosensitizer due to incident light energy, thereby preventing bacteria from forming a biofilm.La présente invention concerne un cathéter et un procédé de fabrication de celui-ci. Plus particulièrement, le cathéter selon la présente invention comprend: un corps tubulaire et un photosensibilisateur inclus dans la surface cylindrique interne du corps. Le cathéter selon la présente invention possède dexcellentes propriétés mécaniques, telles quune stabilité à la température et au pH et des caractéristiques optophysiques élevées.
